Among powertrains, diesel and petrol engines are the most common in listings. Engine displacement ranges from 1.5 to 2 litres, and power from 90 to 140 hp. Diesel versions are offered with both automatic and manual gearboxes, with manual transmissions mentioned more often. Front-wheel drive is predominant.
Pricing depends on the model year. The median price on the market is 6850 US dollars, and the typical range is from 5599 to 7800 US dollars. The cheapest examples were recorded at around 4800 US dollars, while the most expensive reached 9440 US dollars. Median prices by year show growth for newer cars: 6999 US dollars in 2013, 6600 in 2014, 7300 in 2015, and 9440 for 2016.
The Fluence is positioned as a spacious and comfortable family car with handling typical of its class. When assessing a specific vehicle, it is worth paying attention to the engine type, gearbox and the condition of the chassis, as age and mileage significantly affect its value.
