Summary

Subaru Outback 2013 VIN check

This page is a short report on the Subaru Outback 2013: VIN JF1BRDLY5EG170835, production year 2013, mileage 281k km, diesel engine, automatic gearbox and an asking price of $7,400. Such a check helps to quickly understand how well a specific car matches the market, whether the price looks suspiciously low and whether the mileage is typical for this year.

Insight: The car is over 10 years old — the condition of key units and rust affect price and risk the most. High mileage — service history and the condition of the engine and gearbox are decisive. Diesel — the condition of the fuel system and the DPF matters.

Market position

Based on current data, year ±2). Market prices range from $8,400 to $12,500 with a median of $10,000, and this offer is below the market: 26% under the median. This is not always a problem, but such a difference deserves extra attention to the car's condition, documents, registration history.

Insight: The price is abnormally low — a higher risk of hidden problems.

History & registrations

The report includes state registry data: owners — 4, transfers — 2, plate changes — 1, years in the registry — 5. The latest recorded operation: Sold to a new owner on 06.06.2025. This data helps to assess the legal transparency of the car before buying.

Insight: Many owners (4) — frequent resales usually have a reason. The plate was changed 1 time — such changes can split the history into separate episodes.
